# Can I make phone calls or send SMS with a Stippl eSIM?

Stippl eSIMs are **data-only**, which means that internet-based communication apps **will work**, including:
    * WhatsApp
    * Telegram
    * iMessage (via Apple ID)
    * FaceTime Audio
    * Skype
    * Signal
    * Viber

**But please note:**
* Mobile voice calls are **not supported**
* Traditional SMS text messaging is **not available**
