# Can I transfer my Stippl eSIM to a different device?

No. Once a Stippl eSIM is installed on a device, it cannot be transferred to a different one.

###### Why not?
* Stippl eSIMs are designed for one-time installation on a single device.
* Once installed, the activation code is permanently bound to that device and cannot be used again anywhere else.
* Deleting an installed eSIM from your phone is also permanent. It cannot be reinstalled unless Stippl support explicitly guides you through it.

###### What to do instead
* If you need an eSIM for a different device, purchase a new Stippl eSIM for that device.

|| The same restriction applies when setting up a new iPhone using "Transfer to New iPhone". Stippl eSIMs cannot be moved this way.

|| Bought an eSIM for someone else's phone and the QR code has already been used? Contact support+esim@stippl.io before doing anything else.

Contact Stippl support using the email address linked to your account. We may be able to help, depending on whether the eSIM has already been used.
