# How do I change my privacy settings?

Stippl has two separate privacy settings: one for your profile and one for individual trips.

### Profile privacy: who can follow you?

**Steps**
1. Go to your profile.
2. Tap **Settings**.
3. Find the **"Who can follow me?"** option.
4. Toggle between:
* **Everyone:** anyone can follow you.
* **Only the people I approve:** follow requests need your approval before they go through.

**Result**
The change saves immediately, no save button needed.

### Trip privacy: who can view a trip?

**Steps**
1. Open your trip.
2. Go to **Trip Settings**.
3. Find the **"Who can view your trip?"** option.
4. Choose from:
* **Private:** only people you've invited to the trip.
* **My followers:** all your followers can view it.
* **Everyone:** the trip is fully public.
5. Tap **Done** to apply your choice.

**Result**
Unlike profile privacy, trip privacy needs you to confirm with **Done** before the change takes effect.
