# How do I create and share a Travel Movie of my trip?

The Travel Movie turns your trip into a short animated video, combining your route with photos from each destination. It's available in the Stippl mobile app.

###### Before you start
You need at least 2 destinations in your trip to generate a movie. If your trip only has one, add another destination first.

###### Creating your Travel Movie
1. Open your trip and go to the trip menu.
2. Choose the trip movie option, or tap the play button on the story view.
3. Tap **Edit style** if you want to customize your movie first (see below), then tap **Generate**.
4. Rendering happens in the background and may take a few minutes. You can close the screen and continue planning; you'll get a push notification when it's ready.

###### Customizing your movie
The **Edit style** editor has 3 tabs:

* **Styles**, for the overall look of the movie
* **Pictures**, to pick which photos to include per destination
* **General**, for other movie settings

|| Free accounts can include up to 3 photos per destination. Stippl Pro unlocks up to 10 photos per destination, extra map styles and colors, HD, landscape orientation, picture fit and speed options, and using your profile picture as the transport marker.

There's no maximum number of destinations. Longer trips with more photos simply produce a longer movie.

###### Updating your movie after changes
The Travel Movie does not update automatically when you edit your itinerary or photos. To reflect changes, open the movie screen and use the re-render button. You'll see a confirmation that the current movie will be overwritten before it regenerates.

If you reopen the editor after adding or removing destinations, new destinations are added to your photo selection and removed ones are dropped automatically, but you still need to generate the movie again for the change to show.

###### Fixing missing transport icons
The plane, car, train, bus, or ferry icons in your movie come from the travel mode set on the transport between destinations. If a transport leg has no travel mode set, or there's no transport added between two destinations, the movie shows a colored dot instead of an icon.

To fix this, go back to your planner and add or edit the transport between those destinations, then set its type.

###### Saving and sharing your movie
Once your movie is ready, you can save it to your camera roll or share it straight to Instagram from the same screen.

Music is not currently supported, so you can't add or change the soundtrack.
