# How do I follow someone on Stippl?

You can follow other Stippl users to keep up with their trips and journal entries.

###### Finding people to follow
* Use the search screen to look someone up by name or username.
* Or check the suggested people shown on your home screen.

Open their profile and tap **Follow**.

###### Public and private profiles
If someone's profile is public, you'll start following them immediately. If their profile is private, they'll receive a follow request that they need to accept first.

###### What you can see as a follower
Once you're following someone, you can view their public and followers-only trips and journals from their profile.

You'll also get a notification whenever someone you follow publishes a new journal entry, tapping it takes you straight to the entry. There isn't a separate following feed today, so their content lives on their profile rather than in a combined feed.
