# How do I plan my trip day by day?

Once you've added destinations and places to your trip, you can schedule them onto specific days. This is a free feature on both the app and web.

###### Stippl mobile app:
1. Open your trip's day-by-day view. Each day lists the items already planned for it.
2. Use the add button on a day to add a place, either by searching or from your saved places.
3. Open the place and use the **All day** checkbox, or set a start and end time. Accommodations use check-in and check-out times instead.

###### Stippl web version:
1. Open a place's details and select **Assign to a day**.
2. Set **From** and **To** times, or use **All day**.
3. Time editing appears once the place has been scheduled to a day.

###### Moving and reordering places
To move a place to a different day or destination, open its manage menu and choose **Change day or destination**. Within a single day, you can drag items to reorder them, or remove a place from a day entirely.

###### Ideas without a day yet
If you save a place without assigning it to a day, it stays on your trip as an unscheduled idea, marked **Not yet scheduled**. You can assign it to a day whenever you're ready.

###### Planning day trips
To make a destination a day trip or stopover, set its nights to 0. You can also just add activities from a nearby city to a day of your base destination by searching for them directly.
