# How to remove a place (accommodation or activity) from your trip?

There are **two different actions**, depending on what you want to achieve:

### Option 1: Remove a place from your itinerary (keep it in your list)
Use this if you don't want the place included in your itinerary anymore, but still want to keep it saved.

**Steps**
1. Open your trip.
2. Navigate to the place:
* Either open the **Route** tab, tap the destination, then tap the place.
* Or open the **Days** tab and navigate to the relevant day and place.
3. Tap **Added** (Stippl app) or **Added to trip** (Stippl web) next to the place so it becomes deselected.
4. Tap **Save**.

**Result**
The place will no longer be included in your itinerary, but it will still remain visible in your list.

### Option 2: Completely delete a place from a list
Use this if you want to remove the place entirely from a list so it won't show up in the trip anymore.

**Steps**
1. Open your trip.
2. Go to the **Lists** tab.
3. Open the relevant list and find the place you want to remove.
4. Swipe left on the place.
5. Tap the **trash bin** icon.
6. Confirm by tapping **Yes, remove from trip** (or **Yes, remove list** when removing an entire list).

**Result**
The place will be removed from the list and will no longer appear anywhere in the trip.
