How does offline access work in Stippl?
Stippl saves your trip to your device so you can view it without a connection. Here's how it works.
How to get a trip available offline?
Open the trip in the Stippl app while you're offline. This tells the app to cache it. The next time you connect to the internet, the trip finishes syncing and stays accessible offline from then on.
What's available offline?
You can view your full itinerary, including destinations, activities, accommodation, and transport. Journal entries you write while offline are saved locally and sync automatically when you reconnect.
What requires a connection?
Editing your itinerary, adding or updating expenses, and accessing documents all need an internet connection.
Why does it work for some trips but not others?
Each trip needs to be opened at least once while offline to start the caching cycle. Trips you've only ever opened with a connection haven't been cached yet.
