How to access the internet using your eSIM?

Once your eSIM is installed, follow these steps to start using mobile data.

Step 1: Set Stippl eSIM as your data line

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular
  2. Tap Cellular Data
  3. Select your Stippl eSIM (labeled Secondary by default)

Step 2: Enable Data Roaming

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular
  2. Tap your Stippl eSIM (Secondary)
  3. Toggle Data Roaming ON

Step 3: Turn off Allow Mobile Data Switching

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular
  2. Find Allow Mobile Data Switching and make sure it is OFF

This prevents your iPhone from automatically switching back to your primary SIM for data, which would cause unexpected charges on your home plan.

Step 4: Check your connection

Toggle Airplane Mode ON, wait a few seconds, then turn it OFF. Your iPhone should now connect to a local network using your Stippl eSIM.

If you still cannot connect, go to Settings > Cellular > tap your Stippl eSIM > Network Selection > turn off Automatic and try selecting a network manually.

Still not connecting? Contact Stippl support with the email address linked to your Stippl account and we'll investigate.
