Why is my Stippl eSIM not working?

If your Stippl eSIM isn't working, work through these checks in order. Most connection issues are resolved by one of these steps.

1. Check your data balance

Open the Stippl app > eSIM and confirm your plan is still active and has remaining data. If it's expired or empty, top up or purchase a new eSIM.

2. Check that the eSIM line is turned on

Go to Settings > Cellular > tap your Stippl eSIM (Secondary) > make sure Turn On This Line is toggled ON.

3. Check that Data Roaming is on

On the same screen, make sure Data Roaming is toggled ON. Without this, your eSIM won't connect abroad.

4. Set the Stippl eSIM as your data line

Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data > select your Stippl eSIM (Secondary).

5. Turn off Allow Mobile Data Switching

Go to Settings > Cellular > make sure Allow Mobile Data Switching is OFF. When this is on, iOS can silently switch data to your primary SIM.

6. Toggle Airplane Mode

Toggle Airplane Mode ON, wait 10 seconds, then turn it OFF. This forces your device to reconnect to the network.

7. Manually select a network

Go to Settings > Cellular > tap your Stippl eSIM > Network Selection > turn off Automatic and select an available network from the list.

8. Restart your device

A full restart resolves most lingering connection issues.
